A beautiful red San Ildefonso Pueblo pottery bowl by Kathy Gutierrez with a precise and repeating Native American design around the upper rim. Kathy and her sister Carol Gutierrez-Naranjo both learned to make pottery from their mother Helen Gutierrez. Helen was a very accomplished potter from San Idlefonso and married into the Santa Clara Pueblo. Kathy has chosen to continue to make and sign her pottery like her mother did, in the style of San Ildefonso. The quality of her work represents a fine family tradition. This bowl measures 2 ¾” tall by 3 ½” wide. It is in very nice condition.
