A very pretty original painting of snow-capped Canadian Rocky Mountains reflecting in the still waters of a high country lake, by Percy (Two Gun) Plainswoman (1895-1961). Percy was a Blackfoot Indian and lived near Alberta, Canada. Two Gun is one of the few First Nations painters to work in a conventional European style. He was a self taught Artist. His work is in the Glenbow Museum, Calgary, Canada. Including the frame, this painting measures 9 ½” x 11 ½”. This is an oil painting on board.
