An amazing hand carved stone mace head, with battle damage, from the Inca Civilization. The Inca Empire thrived in Ancient Peru between 1400 - 1572 AD. The mace head would have been attached to a handle through the hole carved in the middle. The stone has several broken faces with natural aging to the surface, indicating it was used in battle. It measures approximately 3 ½” in diameter and 1 ¼” thick.
