A fine antique octagonal footed porcelain jewelry, trinket, or dresser box by Fraureuth Saxony of Dresden, Germany. This item was created between the years of 1917-1926. The jewelry box is decorated with a colorful floral theme and gold accents. Flowers are featured on the lid, the inside of the box, and one on each of the eight outer edge surfaces. When this porcelain box was initially sold, a small donation was made by the factory to the survivors of World War I. The jewelry box measures 5” tall by 4” in wide. The box is in very nice condition with some wear from age.
