A traditional 1980’s style Zia Pueblo pot by Eusebia Toribio Shije (b. 1930). The design features three Zia Birds (Roadrunners) and Native American symbols. Eusebia Shije won the award for Best Traditional Zia Pottery in 1980 and 1981 at the Santa Fe Indian Market. She won the Indian Arts Fund Award for Overall Excellence in 1984. This pot is in excellent condition. There are some small marks above one bird that look like they might be original to the piece. Please see the photos. It measures 4” x 5”.
