This is a delightful shallow pottery bowl from the 1940s created by Petra Montoya Gutierrez of the Santa Clara Pueblo. Petra Montoya Gutierrez was born in 1906. This bowl features a single jumping deer. The white paint of the deer is somewhat fading as is the rim. Although the deer has faded, it has done so in way that gives this bowl character and charm. The bowl is oval and is ¾” tall, 4 ¼” wide and 3 ½” deep. The bowl is signed.
